Both the food and the service could not have been better!

Only my daughter and I ate. Best classified as “Contemporary American,” though oftentimes globally influenced and focused on seasonal Produce, dinner began with an amuse of lemony Cucamelons amidst modernist textures, a breath of freshness quickly gone and followed by the first of two “Parker Rolls” that were nothing like the Boston namesake but nonetheless buttery and delicious.

We arrived for our reservation a few minutes early, and were promptly seated. The entree for both of us was not very good, and for one of us it was unacceptable. Such a joy to be treated to drinks and a meal I can't make at home during a pandemic.

We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with us. Highly recommend you go if you're interested in a great time.

Ive been here before but these courses were not ideal. There was, however, a big problem with the actual food. Sepia is a mid-sized, upscale restaurant run by owner Emmanuel Nony and Executive Chef Andrew Zimmerman located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois (United States).

Everything we had was fantastic and the wines were perfectly paired, each one of them better than the last. All in all, a wonderful anniversary dinner under a clear evening in Chicago. The food was delicious. All sandwiches served with duck fat fried potatoes. Food and service were excellent.

The plating, while lovely and elegant, is also fairly simple, in that there were no foams, cryo-technics, no let’s make this look like something else - just beautiful plating, and the dinnerware was all attractive too. I enjoyed the flavor, it was just overcooked and therefore relatively average. The bone marrow dumpling that followed in the second course was equally wonderful.

The Team at Sepia, Another Excellent Meal And the meal started out quite nicely. Best, We heard nothing from the bar, but I also could not see it from our table, so have no idea how busy it might have become.
